Mussels and More Large Oyster

Oysters Rockefeller
Bake right in the shell!

Half fill the Large Oyster shell with creamed spinach (see below). Place raw shucked oysters on creamed spinach. Cover oysters with: 1 teaspoon chopped parsley, a few drops lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce, and chopped partly cooked bacon. Bake for 10 minutes at 475 degrees.

Creamed Spinach:
Chop 2 cups boiled drained spinach. Melt 2 tablespoons butter and add 1 tablespoon chopped onion. Cook until golden. Next, stir in 1 tablespoon flour, 1/2 cup hot milk, and 1/2 teaspoon sugar. When sauce is smooth and hot, add spinach. Stir and cook 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
