Boothbay Harbor Baked Scallops

Serves 2

Ingredients
Jumbo sea scallops, 12 oz.
Butter, 1/2 lb. (1 stick)
Italian bread crumbs, 1 1/2 cups
Lemon juice, 1 tsp.
Pepper, 1/4 tsp.
Paprika, 1/8 tsp.

Method
1. In a small saucepan, combine butter, lemon, and pepper. Melt on low heat.
2. Place scallops in two small scallop shells.
3. Pour butter mixture over the scallops. Sprinkle breadcrumbs over the top.
4. Sprinkle with a small amount of paprika.
5. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes or until golden brown on top.
