Both the faceted oval amethyst and the rectangular serpentine are hand set in gold vermeil filigree. The pendant hangs from a gold vermeil bale to which cloisonne is applied.

Three strands of green freshwater pearls compose the 18" necklace.

The pendant can be slipped off the pearls and worn on a gold chain if desired. The pearls can be worn alone, making this piece extremely versatile.
