This lovely micro-mosaic was hand-made in Italy in the late nineteenth century or early twentieth century. It may, in fact, be an antique piece. It is set in sterling silver with white pearl and white topaz.
The two-strand necklace is composted of delicate black onyx beads and fine sterling silver chain and is 17 3/4" long. The micro-mosaic horseshoe measures 1 1/8" long x 1" wide. The entire pendant, including the bale and accent stones, measures 3 1/4" long x 1 3/8" wide. Closure is a sterling silver lobster claw clasp.
