This ring possesses both beautiful coloration and presence. The top stone, which sits horizontally over the tile, is an amazing spear-shaped agate of fanned horizontal stripes. The middle white stripes emphasize the white in the face of the Immortal. The changing colors of the agate speak to the orange-brown striping over the face and at the top of the head of the Immortal.
The top stone has a glowing depth; the left third portion of that stone is red, providing a counterpoint to the green stone below.
The dimensions are 1 3/4" long x 1 1/4" wide. The stones are mother of pearl, peridot, and banded carnelian agate.
Depicted is one of the Eight Immortals of Taoist culture. The Immortals present fierce faces because they are warding off evil.
