This lovely and delicate micro-mosaic pendant was created in Italy in the late 1800's and is very finely detailed. The micro mosaic consists of ceramic or porcelain micro tiles that were placed by hand. The pendant, which is distinguished by very ornate design work around the perimeter, is decorated with 12 white pearl and white topaz stones around the perimeter. The pendant is set in sterling silver; the Mars & Valentine logo is found on the back.

The necklace is composed of five strands: one strand of very lustrous white baroque freshwater pearls and several strands of tiny delicate white seed pearls and peridot beads. The length of the necklace is 18 1/2". Closure is a sterling silver lobster claw clasp. The cones are decorated with sterling silver leaf appliques.

The pendant is 2 3/4" long x 1 5/8" wide. The length includes the bale.
