This lovely and delicate micro-mosaic pendant was created in Italy in the late 1800's and is very finely detailed. The micro mosaic consists of ceramic or porcelain micro tiles that were placed by hand. The pendant is decorated with 12 peridot and white topaz stones around the perimeter. One additional large peridot stone is found on the bale. The pendant is set in sterling silver. Four strands comprise the necklace: very lustrous pale green freshwater pearls, smaller dark green baroque pearls, tiny delicate white seed pearl, and fine sterling silver chain punctuated with peridot stones. The length of the necklace is 18 1/4". Closure is a sterling silver lobster claw clasp. The cones are decorated with sterling silver leaf appliques. The pendant is 2 5/8" long x 1 5/8" wide. The length includes the bale.
