This lovely and delicate micro-mosaic pendant was created in Italy in the late 1800's and is very finely detailed. The micro mosaic consists of ceramic or porcelain micro tiles that were placed by hand. The pendant is decorated with white pearls and blue and white topaz stones around the perimeter and on the bale.
The necklace consists of four strands: two of turquoise, one of faceted blue topaz, and one of extremely lustrous fresh water pearls. The necklace
measures 17 3/4" long. Closure is a sterling silver lobster claw clasp.
The pendant and bale measure 2 3/8" long x 1 1/2" wide.
