This spectacular guilloche pendant, from the mid to late 1800's, is made of hand-applied enamel over sterling silver. The workmanship and color are exquisite.
The pendant features Jeanne d"Arc, who lived in the early 1400's and is one of the patron saints of France. The pendant is decorated with four white topaz stones and stranded with beautiful iolite stones and brass links. The strength of the links suggest, of course, the strong will and heroic courage of the Maid of Orleans. The iolite tassel provides the perfect finishing touch.
The pendant measures 1 3/8" diameter. The total pendant drop is 4". The necklace itself is 32" long.
